Defending champion France qualified for the final by defeating Morocco in the second semi-final of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
France beat Morocco 2-0 in the semi-final, the first goal for France was scored by Theo Hernandez in the fifth minute of the match, the second goal was scored by Randall Columoani in the 79th minute.
Morocco made a flurry of attacks in the last few minutes but failed and the match ended in a 2-0 win for France.
Morocco's fans were left heartbroken after losing to France in the semi-finals, as the girls in the capital, Casablanca, went wild. The Moroccan team reached the semi-final for the first time, the fans expected to reach the final, but the Moroccan team could not score a single goal in the semi-final. Apart from this, Moroccan fans in Lyari Karachi also became sad, they expressed their wish for Argentina's victory in the final. It should be noted that the Moroccan team was the first Arab and the first African team to reach the semi-finals in the history of the FIFA World Cup.
Morocco was the second Muslim nation to reach the semi-finals of a FIFA World Cup, after Turkey reached the semi-finals in the 2002 World Cup.
